Parents Get Bullied On Social media Too

Cyberbullying is a huge problem among children, but some people do not get that parents will get cyberbullied also. Social media disputes regularly target parents who are requesting advice or attempting to socialize. Facebook parenting classes are notorious to be cliquish and unwelcoming to parents that join. And it isn't really a surprise which parents're exhibiting bad behaviour on line. Studies have demonstrated that people feel empowered to be cruel or mean online in a way that they would perhaps not in person. Kids recognise that and become bullies themselves whenever they hear parents talk about the way they intimidate others online.

I Had a Victim

I was a victim of internet mom bullying once I joined a local parent face book group. A new member of the band asked a question about a school event and has been immediately singled out for torment by the others in the category. As soon as I defended the new mother the group turned on me. Needless to say, I am an adult, so I was better equipped to handle the bullying compared to a kid would be. But it was still very upsetting and frightening.

Absolutely no Individual deserves to be bullied

Subsequent to one other moms in the group decided to produce my own life as hard as you can they started sending me hundreds of messages berating and belittling me. One kept telling me to kill myself because my children will be better off without me. As fast as I would block them they would develop new dummy reports and message me . And on facebook, you cannot block strangers by sending you messages.

The Bullies Gain Strength

They started messaging everybody else on my face book friends list saying terrible things about me personally. Plus so they phoned my supervisor and also tried to make me fired. They almost did catch me fired. My boss said to keep my personal problems out of the workplace because he was angry that they were emailing and calling constantly. They even had their kiddies harass my kiddies at school. It was terrible. And while it was very upsetting for me as an adult I can't even imagine how difficult it is for a young child to deal with that sort of behavior.

We teach our kids not to question, why don't we do the same? What You Can Do
